Sold only in Mexico, this last-gasp Ramcharger packed an odd party trick: a small third-row jump seat in the cargo area that faced sideways instead of forward.

Dodge modernized the Ramcharger's V8s one at a time: throttle-body fuel injection hit the 318 in 1988, but the 360 had to wait until 1989.

American production stopped in 1993, but Mexico kept selling it until 1996 with only minor running changes.

Before Dodge settled on "Ramcharger," this rugged SUV was developed under a very different codename: "Rhino."
