The SQ2 was never going to get a sequel: Audi confirmed in 2022 that the whole Q2 line would end after this one generation, no second generation planned, after sales came in weak.
The Q2 was marked for death years before it died: VW Group confirmed in 2022, with the car still on sale, that it would get no second generation at all.
