FactThe very last Slavuta ever built off the line in January 2011 wasn’t scrapped or sold quietly — it went to an online auction instead.
The ZAZ-1103 Slavuta, a B-class liftback on the Tavria platform, was released in 1995 and discontinued in 2011, with a fuel-injected 1.2-1.3-litre engine (no exact displacement given, so none entered); its all-new liftback body had an elongated roofline, more rounded bonnet and boot, indicators moved into the headlamp units, no rain gutters above the doors, better aerodynamics and more boot space, with the loading height lowered by 60 cm and less rear-glass fouling in rain. Some design elements were shared with the later Chevrolet Lanos once ZAZ began building that model. Front engine, front-wheel drive.
