FactThe Celestiq is the first car GM ever sold to the public built at its Warren, Michigan technical center.
The Cadillac Celestiq is a hand-built battery-electric liftback and the brand's flagship sedan, assembled since January 2024 on a low-volume line at GM's Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, the first vehicle sold to the public that was built there. The production version was introduced on October 18, 2022, and the first car was delivered to a customer in June 2025. It uses GM's BEV3 platform with two motors producing 655 hp, a 111 kWh Ultium battery and an EPA range of 303 miles, and has all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering and a smart-glass roof. Many parts are 3D-printed, and fewer than 500 a year were planned.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
