Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.

Introduced in 1991, the FL-Series was the first all-new medium-duty conventional truck range in North America since 1980, built around a Mercedes-Benz LK cab.

The eM2 began as a 2018 prototype with a 230-mile range and entered full-scale production in 2023 as a variant of the M2 Plus.

The Sterling Acterra paired the L-Line cab with a Freightliner Business Class chassis for Class 5-8 medium-duty work.

For 2021 Kenworth added battery-electric versions of its cabover, the K270E and K370E, alongside the T680E.

In 2008 Kenworth replaced the medium-duty T300 with the Class 5-7 T170/T270/T370 family.

The T300 was Kenworth's first medium-duty conventional truck, a T600 adapted to the lower Class 7 weight rating.

When the 210 returned in 2011 it was built in Mexicali, Mexico, on the chassis of the 325 and 330, keeping only the DAF LF cab.

Freightliner built a prototype diesel-electric hybrid on an M2 106 in 2006, and by 2011 the 1000th M2 hybrid had been produced.
