The Renault Zoe, known as the Zoe E-Tech Electric since 2021, is a five-door supermini electric car built by Renault at Flins-sur-Seine, France, and based on the platform of the Renault Clio. A production-ready version was shown at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, retail deliveries began in France in December 2012, and it was the top-selling all-electric car in Europe in 2015 and 2016 and, as of 2020, Europe's all-time best-selling plug-in electric car, with global sales of almost 285,000 units as of December 2020. The first cars carried a 22 kWh battery; the 41 kWh ZE 40 arrived in October 2016, an 80 kW R110 motor in 2018, and in 2019 the 52 kWh-usable ZE 50 with a 100 kW R135 motor and CCS charging. Renault ceased production on 30 March 2024, and the Zoe was replaced by the retro-styled Renault 5 E-Tech.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
