The Nissan Moco is a rebadged Suzuki MR Wagon: the first generation was shown as a concept at the 35th Tokyo Motor Show in October 2001 and went on sale on 10 April 2002. Engine, drive and transmission choices matched the Suzuki: the 658 cc K6A DOHC three-cylinder, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. The main difference was Nissan's "wing" grille. The MR Wagon it is based on ended production in December 2005.
