FactThis MG3 is the first one ever sold in European markets beyond the UK.
The third-generation MG3 (model code ZP22) is a supermini revealed on 26 February 2024 at the Geneva Motor Show and built at Nanjing in China and Laem Chabang in Thailand. For the first time it is offered as a Hybrid+ hybrid, pairing a 1.5-litre four-cylinder with an electric motor for 143 kW combined, alongside a plain 1.5-litre petrol of 80 kW. European sales began in March 2024 with the hybrid only; the petrol joined in Europe in February 2025. It is also the first MG3 sold in European markets beyond the UK.
