The first-generation MG4 EV (codename EH32) is a battery-electric C-segment hatchback built by SAIC Motor under the MG marque, released in June 2022 in China as the MG Mulan and in Europe from July 2022. It was the first car on SAIC's Modular Scalable Platform (Nebula), developed with Europe as its primary market, with a rear motor and rear-wheel drive. Batteries range from about 49–51 kWh LFP to 64–77 kWh NMC; the 77 kWh Extended Range with a 180 kW motor arrived in Europe in August 2023. Chinese production ended in 2025 while export production continues; the dual-motor XPower is covered separately.
