The Lada Samara 2 (VAZ 2113/2114/2115), a lightly facelifted second phase of the original Samara/VAZ-2108 line (already covered separately in this catalogue as the first-generation Samara/2108), went on sale in limited numbers as the four-door 2115 sedan in 1997 with upgraded brakes and interior borrowed from the VAZ-2110; full production began in Togliatti in 2000, with a five-door 2114 hatchback added in 2002 and a three-door 2113 in 2004. Production of the original first-generation Samara ended in 2004, leaving the Samara 2 as AvtoVAZ's sole small-family-car line until the Lada 110 and Priora took over most of its market. Its facelifted 1,499 cc four made 77 hp (57 kW) with single-point fuel injection; a later 2007 update added a 1.6-litre VAZ-11183-20 engine first seen in the VAZ 2110. Front engine, front-wheel drive; width 1,650 mm (65.0 in), height 1,340 mm (52.8 in). The page's own wheelbase and length figures ("1,370 mm-4,330 mm") span an implausible range for a single dimension and read as a data error rather than a genuine trim spread, so wheelbase is left unset here rather than repeated as printed.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
