The second-generation Lada Kalina, revealed at the 2012 Moscow International Automobile Salon, is essentially a facelifted first-generation Kalina (already covered separately) with a slightly extended wheelbase and length, 13/14-inch wheels, electronic throttle control and hatchback/wagon body styles only (the saloon was dropped); also sold as the Lada 2192 (hatchback) and 2194 (wagon), and the basis for the Japanese-badged Datsun mi-Do built for the Russian market. Two 1.6-litre petrol fours (8- and 16-valve) made 86 to 105 hp (64-78 kW) and 140-145 Nm. Front engine, front-wheel drive; wheelbase 2,476 mm (97.5 in), length 3,893 mm (153.3 in, hatchback) or 4,084 mm (160.8 in, wagon), width 1,670 mm (65.7 in), height 1,500-1,560 mm (59.1-61.4 in), curb weight 1,125-1,160 kg (2,480-2,557 lb, cross & wagon).

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
