The Daihatsu Sonica is a kei car sold between 2006 and 2009, whose production began in 2006 after it was revealed as a concept car named "SK Tourer" earlier that year. It was available in three grade levels, R, RS and RS Limited, with a 658 cc KF-DET turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 64 PS and a CVT, and it was discontinued in April 2009. The name Sonica is derived from the word "sonic", and the Daihatsu Cast Sport succeeded it.
