The Cupra Born is a battery electric small family car (C-segment) marketed by SEAT through its performance-oriented Cupra marque. It was initially unveiled as the SEAT el-Born concept in 2019, and the production car was revealed in May 2021 as the Cupra Born. It is based on the Volkswagen Group MEB platform. The range is rear-wheel drive with an APP 310 permanent magnet brushless motor, available with 58 or 77 kWh usable battery capacity, and from 2024 with the E-Boost Pack, while the Born VZ has a more powerful APP 550 motor with 240 kW and a 79 kWh usable battery. The Born 45, with a 45 kWh usable battery, was cancelled.

Owning one
An estimate, for the Born 58 (62 kWh, 150 kW) trim: fuel on its EPA figure and a dated national price, upkeep on a per-mile average for the kind of car it is.
