The Satellite Sebring was named for Sebring International Raceway — and when Plymouth retired it, its replacement was almost badged "Plymouth Sebring" before Chrysler claimed the name for the Cordoba instead.

The legendary Plymouth Road Runner was never its own model — in 1968 it rode on the exact same body as the everyday Satellite and Belvedere.

The base 1966 Satellite V8 made just 180 hp — but tick the right box and the same car left the factory with the 425-hp "Street Hemi," twin 4-barrel carbs and 10.25:1 compression included.
