This Town and Country's second-row seats could spin 180 degrees to face the third row, with a fold-out table stowed underfloor for when they did.

For its first few years this short-wheelbase Town & Country wasn't even called that — Chrysler sold it as the Voyager, a name inherited when Plymouth was shut down.

Woodgrain had defined the Town and Country since 1965 -- this generation was the first to drop it, breaking more than three decades of tradition.

This Town & Country's fancy optional 'Quad Command' bucket seats backfired — when Chrysler added integrated child safety seats in 1992, the feature only worked with a bench seat, so the plusher Town & Country couldn't get it.

Chrysler even built a woodgrain-paneled Town & Country CONVERTIBLE on this K-body wagon generation, deliberately echoing its 1940s woody ancestors, with Mark Cross leather as standard.
