FactNoble aimed the M15 straight at the Porsche 911 Turbo and Ferrari F430, adding sat-nav and ABS for the first time on a Noble.
The Noble M15, developed to appeal to a broader market than the M12-GTO3R or M400 and pitched directly against the Porsche 911 Turbo/GT3 and Ferrari F430, added features not seen on previous Nobles — satellite navigation, traction control, electric windows and ABS. Its twin-turbo 2,967 cc Ford Duratec V6 made 455 bhp (461 PS) and 455 lb-ft, through a 6-speed manual. Longitudinal rear-mid-engine, rear-wheel drive; wheelbase 2,438 mm (96 in), length 4,270 mm (168 in), width 1,850 mm (73 in), height 1,116 mm (44 in), curb weight 1,250 kg (2,756 lb).

The CTR Anniversary looks like a 911 but Ruf built its carbon monocoque from scratch, no Porsche body underneath.

The 228's coupe styling hides a sedan underneath: Maserati stretched it onto the longer four-door Biturbo chassis to make room for its biggest V6, which is literally where the name comes from — 2-door, 2.8 litre.

Switching to fuel injection let this V8 finally shed its trademark bonnet bulge — and only 405 of these flat-hooded Series 5 cars were built before the whole model retired in 1989.

Japanese buyers got a secret weapon in their MX-6 — the JDM-only KL-ZE V6 made about 40 more horsepower than the engine sold in the exact same car in North America.

An American tuner, Callaway Cars, built twin-turbo conversions of the GTV6 that boosted its V6 by fifty percent to 230 hp — turning Alfa's grand tourer into something far quicker than the factory ever intended.
