The MCXtrema is a track-only derivative of the MC20 introduced in August 2023, with heavy use of carbon and natural fibres, advanced aerodynamics and a targeted dry weight of 1,250 kg, over 250 kg less than the MC20. Its Nettuno V6 gains two new turbochargers for 740 PS, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed sequential gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential. It has an FIA fuel tank, extinguisher and roll cage, yet keeps air conditioning and a passenger seat. Production is limited to 62, customisable through Maserati's Fuoriserie programme.
