The Reventón is a limited production mid-engine car that debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show with an all-new carbon-fibre body styled after "the fastest airplanes" over the mechanicals of the Murciélago LP 640. Twenty were sold, plus one (00/20) for the Lamborghini museum, all in the same matte grey; its styling formed the basis of the Aventador. A Roadster with the LP 670-4 SV's 670 PS engine was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and built in 15 units.
