The Centenario is a limited-production car based on the Aventador SV, unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show for the 100th birthday of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini. Its tuned 6.5-litre V12 makes 770 PS, 20 PS more than the SV, and it was the first Lamborghini with rear-wheel steering and three exhausts. The Roadster was unveiled at the August 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. A total of 40 were built, 20 coupés and 20 roadsters, all sold by invitation.
