FactPininfarina helped style this Tiburon, and Hyundai sold it at home under a different name entirely, the Tuscani.
The second Tiburon (GK), sold as the Tuscani in South Korea and the Coupe in Europe, was designed with Pininfarina and launched for the 2003 model year with new styling, larger dimensions and an optional V6. It was built in Ulsan, Turkey and Thailand from 2001 to 2008 and shared its underpinnings with the XD Elantra. Engines were a 1.6 and 2.0-litre four and a 2.7-litre Delta V6, with five- or six-speed manuals and a four-speed automatic.
