The 1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette was one of the first vehicles on the market with a back-seat DVD player and retractable overhead screen — now a minivan staple.

The Silhouette shared its GM10 minivan design with the Chevrolet Lumina APV and Pontiac Trans Sport, all three built at a single plant in Tarrytown, New York, before production moved to Doraville, Georgia in 1992.
