This van's own badge-engineered sibling, the Citroën Nemo, rolled over during a routine evasive-manoeuvre test in Germany in 2010 — its tall, short-wheelbase shape was the cause, and stability control wasn't even offered to prevent it.

In 1989 the Brazilian-built Fiorino became the test bed for Fiat's new 1.5-litre take on its long-running Fiasa engine — the very first vehicle to get it.

Spain got its own version of the first Fiorino, sold as the Emelba 127 Poker, with its own design studio and its own pickup body nobody else had.
