The V6 in the 2007-08 Sebring was paired with something new for Chrysler — the company's first six-speed automatic transmission ever, with Autostick manual control.

This Sebring coupe wore a Chrysler badge, but it was built on a stretched Mitsubishi Eclipse platform in Illinois — one writer called it "a Mitsubishi in all but name."

The first Sebring Coupe's crosshair grille looked like it meant business, but it was pure styling — the real air intake hid under the bumper in a "bottom breather" setup.
