All 3 BMW M6 Generations
Each generation deals in its rarity tier’s alloy with its engine disc, lead specs, and first spotter record. Click into any generation for full trims and market figures.

This generation's engine went straight into a race car, the M6 GT3 — and it won outright at the 24 Hours of Spa in its very first season.

The E63 M6 coupe wore a carbon-fibre roof — a first for any regular-production BMW, a trick last seen on the limited-run E46 M3 CSL.

At 255 km/h (158 mph), the European M635CSi was the second-fastest BMW ever built at the time -- beaten only by the exotic M1.
