5 signs the car you just walked past is rarer than you think
Nissan · R34 Skyline GT-RSpend enough nights in parking lots and you start noticing stuff. My checklist:
- A badge you don't recognise. GT-FOUR on the back of a Celica means it was built to go rallying. Not exactly a grocery-run car.
- It's tiny and the wheel's on the right. Kei trucks were never sold here. Every single one you see came over on a boat.
- They barely made any. Mazda built 4,392 AZ-1s. Gullwing doors, mid-engine, smaller than a Miata. Absolute menace.
- It looks boring and you've never seen one. That's a Toyota Crown, and this generation was never sold in Canada. Somebody went out of their way to get it here.
- It's old and someone clearly loves it. A clean 60 Series Land Cruiser is way harder to find than anything new on the lot.
Which sign do you look for first? And what's the rarest thing you've walked past this week?

Replying needs an account, so a name stays with the person behind it.
